AWARENESS TOOLKIT

EVERY 18 MINUTES TYPOGRAPHY.png

Awareness can save lives, but only when it reaches people in time. This toolkit includes educational and outreach materials designed to help individuals, families, and communities better understand brain aneurysms, recognize warning signs, and share life-saving information with greater clarity and urgency.

Brain aneurysms are often called silent killers because many people do not know they are at risk until it is too late. This toolkit was created to help change that. It equips everyday people with clear facts about symptoms, risk factors, and warning signs that should never be ignored. It was designed to be practical, accessible, and easy to share across community spaces where awareness can make a real difference.

What You'll Find Here

This toolkit includes awareness materials that can be used to support public education and community outreach, including:

  • key brain aneurysm facts and urgency statistics
  • warning signs that demand immediate attention
  • risk factors people should know
  • educational content focused on underserved communities
  • shareable messaging that helps spread awareness further

WHY THIS MATTERS

The toolkit highlights what too many people still do not know: brain aneurysms can rupture without warning, and early recognition can change outcomes. It also speaks directly to the reality that Black and underserved communities often face delayed detection and less access to timely care, making awareness, access, and advocacy especially urgent.

How To Use It

This resource is designed to be shared. Use it in schools, community events, faith spaces, workplaces, support settings, and awareness campaigns. Whether you are educating others or learning for yourself, this toolkit helps move brain health out of the background and into real conversations that can save lives.
