World Humanitarian Day: LaLa Speaks Foundation

Humanity beings in our own community on World Humanitarian Day.

In recognition of World Humanitarian Day, LaLa Speaks Foundation invites the community to join us for Community Care in Action, a free experience rooted in meeting people where they are.

Stop by Central Library for health screenings, wellness support, and community resources designed to help individuals and families connect with practical information and care in a welcoming environment.

Planned offerings include blood pressure screenings, A1C checks, wellness bags, brain health information, and community resource connections.

This experience is free and open to the public. No appointment or advance registration is required. Services and supplies will be available while quantities last. Clinical screenings are subject to partner availability and participant eligibility.

Guests may be invited to share their ZIP code onsite to help LaLa Speaks Foundation understand our community reach and strengthen future programming.

With grace and gratitude, we thank St. Louis Public Library and every community partner helping us bring care closer to the people we serve.
